So there was some caviar i the fridge that was begging to be eaten when I got home… only issue was no bread in the house to make proper squares to eat it on (and if you know me, you know I do not own mother of Pearl spoons). So no has always said you can improvise when you are in the kitchen… I am not sure that what I came up with would pass inspection as a suitable substitute.. but it was tasty! Keebler crackers with cheese in them topped with caviar…. Lol 😝

Horse of the Week: Rustaleta 🤩🙌 affectionally known as Rusty, she is the sweetest little rainbow horse ever who loves getting her mane braided!! Fall is just around the corner! We’re looking forward to the cooler weather and our Fall Lessons Program 🐴🍁🤩 The summer schedule ends the week of August 15th, so be sure to give us a call or send us an email or text to secure your spot for the fall!

Before you choose the horse girl, just remember, her horses come first. She will be very unlikely to give up a really good day of riding, to go drive around aimlessly. She will sometimes be late, and have hay stuck in her hair on special date nights. She might cancel last minute cause her horse has a scratch and she wants to tend to him. She probably wont want to party a ton because the next morning shes gotta get up early to load horses for a show. She will use your hoodies to go feed in, use your truck to haul hay in (if she doesn't already have her own) she will drag you out to video and take photos of her riding any chance she can get! Have I mentioned horses are expensive, and they continue to cost even when they are not in use, unlike your bike, sleds or vehicles that can be parked and not eat! She probably wont wanna go away for to many nights at a time, cause she doesn't like that she'll have to hire someone to feed and water her horses! But, horse girls are a lot more than just a pain in the ass, they will teach you what patience is, what strength is, & what determination is. You will watch them be told they can not do something , and watch them work everyday to do it. You will be amazed and what she can do with some bailing twine and duct tape, You will be fascinated at how agile and strong she can be at the same time. You will smile when she swings a leg over , because she is on cloud 9. You will cheer her on, and be proud to announce that, that is your girl up there. You will watch her get dumped and get back on and continue her ride. You will learn to love it, or you wont. Horse girls aren't for everyone, they arent always easy, but they are hard to forget! 🐴🐴 -unknown

Summer is almost here, which means camp is just around the corner. Swipe for our schedule 👉🏼 Spots are filling up quickly, so make sure you get your campers in for a week of total immersion in all things equine. Campers who attend more than one week of camp in the same summer are eligible for a $25 discount. Enrollment forms can be downloaded from our website.

So just about everyone knows I have been a sport horse / dressage person for quite a while… couple of years ago I thought it might be fun to show a half arab mare again in halter… so Fiona GI got to go to Scottsdale, placed well, and then to midsummer nationals and won a top ten and a National championship! So once again I took her and a pure bred mare to the he May Fest show in Ft. Worth… it has been a fun couple of relaxing days with only two classes per day!!! How funny!!! Fiona was 1st, 2nd and Reserve and Khodja was 1st, 1st abs champion mare. Khodja is offered for purchase.

Well RT, time certainly flies. The Merby is long gone, Our Triumphant Tribe returned from Regionals and now they are in OKC at Mid-Summer/Youth Nationals. So many lessons taught, so many horses sold. And GOOD LAWD...we are on our eighth summer camp! I would say My Old Soul, it's a DANG splendid life here at MMS.

Dear Granger, We will say it again - "You are one of the hardest working Ladies in the horse business!" And where are you now...? At Mid-Summer/Youth Nationals in Oklahoma City!!
