Designed for groups from 2-8 people under instructor supervision, this self guided ride allows you to get comfortable with the horse outside a traditional lesson setting. Show up ready to ride!
The Ride
An instructor will help you grasp the basics of walking, steering, and stopping after they help you get on the horse. You will have the rest of the riding time to practice your skills while an instructor monitors your ride.
NOTE:
- All riders will be riding on their own. The leisure ride is not guided or instructed, only supervised by the instructor.
- Minimum age to ride alone is 6-7 years old, depending on how well they can do on their own
Details
- All riders under 18 are required to wear a helmet. Helmets can be provided.
- All riders wear closed-toed shoes or cowboy boots with a low heel. Jeans with a stretch and smooth back pockets are comfortable and will not damage equipment.
- Payment in full required to confirm your reservation. We accept PayPal, Zelle, and credit card (3.7% fee) over the phone
*All reservations are weather permitting. We do not refund. We will honor the payment made as a credit and reschedule or apply to one of our other services to use within 90 days of the original scheduled service.
*24 hour notice is needed to reschedule the ride without penalty (losing the credit paid for the leisure ride)
