Magic Moments Stable offers an excellent program for all levels of riders from beginners riding school horses to advanced riders wanting to compete in English or Western events in horse shows locally or around the country.
Magic Moments Stable provides riding lessons that teach not only the skills of riding, but also more important life lessons such as confidence, compassion, patience, and finding goal-oriented solutions.
We emphasize a solid foundation of basics from a dressage background, proper horsemanship, sportsmanship, team-work, positive attitude, and responsibility. In addition, we provide a professional, fun, and relaxed environment, where genuine friendships are cherished and memories are made.
Standard Lessons
Designed for students ages 6 & up, our standard lessons start out riders with some English to develop good balance and the use of their body (aids) while riding. After establishing the basics, riders can switch to Western, if the student chooses.
NOTE: All riders with 1 hour private lessons. We focus on one on one attention in order to grow our riders' experience level quickly. Each one hour lesson includes the following:
We provide riders with the full horsemanship experience to gain the skills they need to become self-sufficient in the barn and be able to tack, lunge, etc. on their own.
After an instructor is completely comfortable with their ability on ground work, the student can shift to 45 or 30 minute private lessons.
*Instructor approval required to enroll.

Mommy & Me Lessons
Magic Moments believes in sharing the riding and horse experience with even the youngest of students. The Mommy (or Daddy) & Me program is for a parent and student who is between 4-5 years old.
This 45-minute lesson program is booked in packages of 4 and can be continued year round. There are two tracks of lessons in this program.
Actual riding/activity time with the horse is about 20-30min. The whole time at the barn with both tracks is about 45 min. Time frames are adjusted appropriately according to the student interaction with the horse and instructor.
Helmets are provided for the first couple of rides, then riders are required to provide their own for any lessons beyond the first
two. All riders under the age of 19 are required to wear a helmet during lessons. Low-heeled boots and jeans (NO embellishments or beading) or riding pants are also required to ride.
